Behavioral Based Safety is a process that deals with the human behavior from attitude, perception and aptitude relating to safety. BBS approach had a reasonable success to result a better workplace with reduced unsafe behavior. BBS is not only a pre-requirement while commissioning the project but also a supplementary important tool to enhance the already existing safety precautionary and objective measurement system, sustenance and growth during the operational stage of the plant. This programme will help in analyzing the behavior of relevant people and find the cause. The behavior change of frontline workers, managers often helps in reducing hazards. In simple, BBS is a systematic approach of preventive methods for a better performance in the workplace.
